Tarot Horoscopes – May 2014

Tarot Horoscopes for May 2014

Greetings to Everyone in Tarot World,

 The Gilded Tarot- Barbara Moore

Well, here I am back with this month’s Tarot Horoscopes and I do hope you enjoy them.

For this Month I have decided to use a different Deck for our Tarot Horoscopes and a Spread that comes with the Deck. The Deck in question is The Gilded Tarot by Barbara Moore which is in The Rider-Waite-Smith Style. The Deck also comes with a lovely Companion Book. This Gilded Tarot Deck and Companion Book can be bought on Amazon. I have provided the Link for those who are interested in purchasing.  The Gilded Tarot Deck

The Spread in this case is called the Daily Spread but I have used it for a Monthly Spread. I also have determined my own way of selecting the Specific Cards. This Spread requires Five Cards.  Sorry if some of the pics are slightly crooked and fuzzy. My eye is obviously not steady this month and my Blackberry Camera not behaving itself!

Position One – relates to the realm of your Work, Career, Business or Study – After Shuffling I selected the Base Card for this.

Position Two – relates to the realm of your Home, Family, Relationships and what is going on in and around them – After Shuffling I selected the Top Card for this.

After this I cut the remaining Deck into Three Piles and took the Top Card from each Pile for the last Three Cards.

Position Three – relates to those things that will happen throughout the Month that you had not expected. Surprises or Disturbances – Top Card from First Pile

Position Four – relates to Your Role in all that is happening. What you can, should, will be doing to make the month a success or disaster – Top Card from Second Pile

Position Five – relates to the Outcome of the Month. How the month is likely to finish up under the surrounding circumstances the other Cards have revealed – Top Card from Third Pile.

The Cards are laid out in the shape of a cross as follows:

1                    5               2

NB**The Following Tarot Horoscopes are not based on Astrological Placing of Planets for the Month of May. They are simply Tarot Cards drawn for the Purpose of Compiling a Horoscope for each sign of The Zodiac. Remember not to take these Tarotscopes too seriously as they are meant for fun and for teaching purposes. They also stretch me as a Reader to compile a Reading for each Sign based on the Cards drawn rather than Reading for an individual who has a particular question or issue. As with any Generic Horoscope, some people reading them will find them very relevant while for others they will mean absolutely nothing. Please also bear in mind that, several other interpretations could be applied to each Reading but for each Sign, I have chosen a certain Interpretation, some ordinary and everyday, while others dramatic and intense. You may see completely different stories in the Cards below and that is fine.  I do hope you get some enjoyment or even amusement out of Reading your own Tarotscope. They are rather interesting this month.

Aries – (Mar 21-Apr 20)

Aries Tarot Spread

Lest us first address the Realm of Work for you this month and let us all remember that work means different things to individuals so it does not all pertain to going out to a 9-5 job each day or having a mad high-flying career. Work for you might be having to juggle kids, a part-time job and house-work, so for the individual Aries you can apply this interpretation to suit your own circumstances. It is nice to see that in this Position we have The Queen of Pentacles, and who better to represent your Work for the month for she is letting you know that you will be hard at it this month and extremely productive. With the Queen of Pentacles’ energy driving you forward you will get your work done in double-quick time and without any fuss or complaints. Industrious and methodical are her middle names so you will be getting tasks done, some of them tedious, that you may have been putting on the long finger for some time. We know Aries that you hate anything that is boring or painstaking, but with this Queen around, you will roll up your sleeves and just get on with it. You will be very surprised at how much you achieve in work this month with this attitude, and if you are a boss or team-leader, there will be no slacking allowed. Any problems or challenges that work will throw your way this month will be met head on and dealt with in a thorough and practical manner. Everything will run smoothly and in a no-nonsense manner with this Queen at the helm. Projects will be completed and ahead of schedule, and work colleagues will be taking photos of your desk because they have never seen it so tidy and your In and Pending tray so beautifully sorted. However, be careful of overdoing it and becoming fixated on your mission as you may be seen as a slave driver, or lacking in fun as you relentlessly pursue your goals and things-to-do-list for the month. Allow a little time for slacking here and there by not totally filling every second of your diary. Read the rest of this entry

Poetry month – Catherine Madsen

Wow, this is very profound and shivers ran down my spine as I read it. An exquisite piece.

Adventures and Musings of an Arch Druidess

Heretic Heart
Catherine Madsen

I am a bold and a Pagan soul
A-ramblin’ through this land
I judge the world by my own lights
And I come by my own hand
And if you ask me where I learned
To live so recklessly

My skin, my bones, my Heretic heart
Are my authority

My mother was a singer of tales
My father a dreaming man
And I have swung from the dragon’s tongue
And danced on Holy Land
I’ve sung the seed up out of the ground
And the bird down from the tree

My skin, my bones, my Heretic heart
Are my authority

I once was found but now I’m gone
Away from the “Faithful Fold”
Of those who preach that holiness
Is to do as you are told
Though law and scripture, priest and prayer
Have all instructed me

My skin, my bones, my Heretic heart

This is information that is relevant to all Parts and it would be unwise for me to drip feed it to you in each section. The Proof-Reader would not work for me on Lesson 11 and I apologise in advance for any typos you may come across. Hopefully, it will be back up and running shortly and I can then give the Lesson a run through.

I hope you enjoy these Lessons.

Spring Blessings,

Vivien (Your Tarot Teacher)

Lesson Ten

The Minor Arcana Ace to Ten

Congratulations on completing the previous Nine Lessons along with the Ace to Ten of each of The Four Suits of The Minor Arcana. This is no mean achievement for there was a lot to learn along with getting accustomed to thinking in a whole new way. As each Lesson and Card was studied and analysed, both your mind and eyes opened to new concepts and sharper visual appraisal. No longer are you merely holding a pile ofForty Picture Cards in your hands called The Minor Arcana of The Tarot, for now you are the new guardians of Four Individual Stories andJourneys, the Stories and Journeys of Life. You now should be at a stage where you understand The Four approaches to life and the Four Aspects of our Personalities which govern how we and those around us act and feel, and what we say, think and do.

You should have a strong understanding of The Four Elements that governed and influenced The Four Suits as they journeyed throughout The Minor Arcana. You should now also be in a position to identify how The Four Elements influence your own life and which one/s dominate and direct your life from day-to-day. You should also be clearly aware of which Element/s are lacking in your personality, which ones would be beneficial for you to get more acquainted with and which ones are best to keep under tight control. Your knowledge of the behaviour of the individual Elements should explain why you have tendencies to act and behave in any given situation. You should also have reached a state of honesty with yourself and acknowledge any Elemental Aspects of your Personality that are in Reverse. You are no longer at the mercy of your Personality for this new knowledge will have empowered you to make adjustments where necessary and to pre-empt certain behaviour which should enable you to gain better control over your life.

Ace of Wands Ace of Cups  Ace of Swords Ace of Pentacles

You will also have noticed that you have a better understanding of partners, spouses, family, friends, work colleagues and associates. This is because of your understanding of The Four ElementsFireWaterAir and Earth. These Elements will have revealed themselves to you as you became more familiar with them, putting you in a better position to identify their Personality Types. As a result you should now have realised why you get on better with some than with others based on your dominant Element Type and theirs. Many will be similar, others compatible, while some will be in opposition or hard to reconcile with. You cannot choose your family but you can choose your friends. Your friends, especially your closest friends will have PersonalitiesElemental Types that are similar to yours or compatible. Sometimes they can be the exact opposite of yours, but by working together, the opposing Elements will bring out the best in each other or force the other out of their comfort zone, which helps growth and development. Those we work with, or have need to deal with on some level or other, will be a mixed bag of Elemental Types and here we have no control, for we must do our best and just get on with it. We may have to grin and bear certainPersonalities because they are our Boss or Manager, we may have to be obliging and agreeable to members of the public when really we would rather throttle them over the head.  On the work front, some of our work colleagues may drive us to distraction while others help make our day just by their very presence. When several Elemental Types are thrown together, there is a tendency to drift into certain groups or clicks that we call ‘our type’. We get along better with ‘our type’ and will sit together in the work canteen at lunchtime or socialise after work hours. There will be many Elemental Types we just won’t get to know much about at all because unless we make an extreme effort they will be deemed as ‘not our type’ and will feel we have little in common with them.

The Step-by-Step Guide To Doing a Tarot Reading or Consultation

Tarot Cards, wand and crystals

Congratulations on completing the previous Ten Lessons. I do hope you have learned a lot about Tarot throughout and are becoming familiar with all the Cards you have studied. We still have to tackle The Court Cards and The Major Arcana, but no doubt you haven’t been able to resist taking a look at Part II and Part III already. I don’t blame you for wanting to read as much as you can about this exciting subject. As this Lesson deals with taking you Step by Step through the Reading Process, it would be pointless if I were to put it as the very last Lesson in Part III, when all the Cards have been covered and Lesson Content too. That is because you do not have to wait to cover or study all the Cards intensely before you start Reading for yourself, or for others. By others, I mean family and friends. You should not be putting yourself out there as a Tarot Reader for the Public until the Whole Course has been covered and you are familiar with the process of Reading for others. However, this Guide also covers Reading for the Public and there is no harm in getting familiar with it all from the very beginning. Therefore, depending on your Level of Reading, you will be approaching this Guide for information regarding Reading for Friendsand Family as a Novice Tarot Reader, or if ready to become a Professional Reader you will want to carefully study all aspects of this Guide. Please Note, that this is a Guide for Reading on a Professional Level but is not a Tarot Business Guide. The Business area of Tarot will be covered in Part III of this Course.

At this Stage, you are well on your way, and I believe are ready to test your fledgling wings by Reading for people you are familiar with, people who won’t mind if you have to sit staring at the Cards for five minutes before saying anything.

This Lesson is going to be all about The Reading Process and will Pull Together much that we have already covered, along with areas I have alluded to throughout the CourseLesson Eleven will act as a Reference Guide to Reading, right from the very moment someone enquires about a Reading, to preparing for The Reading, dealing with your Client on arrival, the Pre-Reading ProcessThe Reading itself and finally the Post-Reading Process.

Truly Teach Me Tarot Part I

Tarotscopes – April 2014

Hi to all my Tarot Friends around the World,

I am delighted to bring to you your Tarot Horoscopes (Tarotscopes) for the Month of April as promised. Please remember that these Tarotscopes are not based on true Astrological Horoscopes where alignment of planets and their configuration is taken into account. I simply Clear the Deck for each Sign and then Shuffle, Reversing a few Cards as I go while asking the Question ‘What is it that …… (sign) needs to know for the Month of April ahead?’ Simple as that. I then take the Top and Base Cards for the Beginning and End of Month and Cut the Deck to Reveal the Card for Mid-Month. I then try to interpret them going by my gut feelings as you must remember I am not Reading for one person in particular. This makes it far more difficult to put together as they need to have a generic appeal. However, that is not always possible so I must go with what comes to mind. I do hope you get some enjoyment or even amusement out of Reading your own Tarotscope.

Aries – (Mar 21-Apr 20)

Queen of Swords Reversed Knight of Swords Upright Strength Upright

Aries you seem to be heading into April feeling very hot under the collar indeed. You appear to be in conflict with someone who is quite likely making  your  life very difficult at  present. There is an atmosphere of hostility and tension around you and forgive me for saying this, you may not be thinking very clearly at present. Instead you are being driven by a sense of revenge or getting even. I think you are preparing to go into full battle against a rival or adversary. Things have certainly heated up and are on the brink of boiling over. This is certainly going to be a battle of words with arguments and heated debate that has the potential to get out of hand very quickly. This battle or war may centre around the legal stage with you psyching yourself to go head to head with your opponent in the courtroom or through solicitors letters. You must be very careful here for you have The Queen of Swords in Reverse and this makes for a personality that might be extremely ruthless, and I am sorry to say has the ability to outsmart you. This personality may be orchestrating a strategy or plan to lure you into knee-jerk reactions and hasty decisions. You must tread carefully for any argument thrown your way or any letter, phone call or email received will have been specifically constructed to illicit a certain response from you.
