My Personal Privacy Policy
teachmetarot.com and its Author, Vivien Ní Dhuínn take the issue of Privacy and Confidentiality very seriously. I will never Share your Personal Details with a Third Party or endeavour to Sell them to Email Marketing Companies.
As a Tarot Consultant I deal with the area of Privacy and Confidentiality on a daily basis. I am going to detail, to the best of my knowledge how the information you send to teachmetarot.com is dealt with, and why it is required in the first place.

The only information I have, and can access about any of my site visitors is through my Site Stats, when a viewer decides to post a Comment, Follow Me, via Contact Forms or by Direct Email.
When a Site Visitor views any pages, they get logged generically for the purpose of WordPress compiling Site Statistics: which countries the viewers are logging on from, the type of search engines used, the terms used in their searches and if they have linked to my site from an external link other than via the normal route of Search Engines. I can also see if any of my Site Visitors have linked to any external links I have included or referred to on my site. Other than that I know nothing of the Individual Visitor until they make a comment on my Site. I have no control over how WordPress manage the details they compile.
Site Visitors
Once a comment has been made by a Site Visitor I am informed of its presence and it sits waiting in my pending file until I have either approved it, or replied and approved it. Along with the comment itself, I am provided details of who the comment came from. This can be either in the form of an avatar/name and an email address, or if it has come from another WordPress user, I will see the name they have used in their Blog Profile along with the Blog URL. I can check out the commenter if they have a Blog, read about them, their Blog, Comment on their site or decide to follow it. Thereby, the Commenter on my site is now privy to accessing my details in the same manner. Some Bloggers go by their real name, I do, while others create a separate Blog Name.
Comments
Unless you are a regular contributor on my site, all comments are held for moderation until approved by me. Therefore, when you post a comment, it will not appear until I have approved it. This is to protect site users from spammers and trolls (there are some very nasty people out there!)
Any comments sent to my site are considered Public Viewing unless I have been asked not to post them by the Sender. This has never happened, yet a few comments I have received were highly sensitive, and I believed the Commenter may not have wished other site users reading their private details. However, I generally either approve the Comment, whereby it immediately gets posted to my Site and can be viewed by anyone who visits it, or I reply and approve with both the Comment and my Reply going Live on my Site too. If I feel the subject of the Comment is too sensitive I will reply in private, via email, once it has been provided. Please understand this is done at my discretion and not because it has been requested by the Sender. Therefore, if you Comment on my Site, you do so on the basis that once it has been approved, it will be view-able to all who visit my site – it will go Public. Therefore, Comments are not dealt with in a Private and Confidential Manner unless requested by you to be so.
Contact Forms
Where Contact Forms have been made available, it is to faciliate Viewers who wish to contact me with a Query or Comment which they may or may not want to be made Public. The only Personal Information required of you in the Contact Form will be your Name, Email Address and Website/Blog if you have one. This information is the most basic of Personal Detail requirements and is necessary for queries to be replied to. Specific Contact Forms may require further Personal Details, but only if it is absolutely necessary. None of the Personal Information supplied by you goes any further than that. I will Never Share Your Personal Details with a Third-Party or Endeavor to Sell it to Email Marketing Companies.
WordAds Program – WordPress – Disclosure
teachmetarot.com is a registered participant in the WordPress WordAds Program. This allows WordPress to place advertisements on my site from which I receive shared revenue. WordPress and their marketing partners display country or region specific ads, selected by them. I have no input in the advertisements placed or what is advertised, but trust implicitly in WordPress’ impeccable high standards in this matter.
Amazon Associates Disclosure
Vivien Ní Dhuinn, of Truly Teach Me Tarot, is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
PayPal
Where Downloads and Donations are concerned, a PayPal facility is provided. Once your order has been placed, or monies donated, you will be directed to PayPal where none of your Personal Bank Account Details or Account Numbers are available to me. teachmetarot.com does not have any access to your credit card numbers or personal account details stored on PayPal. The only personal details PayPal provide me with is your name and email address to track payment. PayPal is a separate entity to teachmetarot.com and has its own Terms and Conditions and Privacy and Data Protection Policy.
