The Queens of The Court Cards on TV

Match The Court Card Queens to their Personas on TV

Below are six TV Leading Ladies. I have picked them for their very definite personalities. I have also supplied a list of corresponding Queens from the Court Cards for you to match with these highly talented women as they portray their on screen characters. My answers are at the very end, but are not conclusive. They are purely my interpretation and you may find different combinations. However, try not be tempted to look at the answers too soon. Have a good shot at it first. I have worked with their most dominant personas but do give mention to their weakest or absent ones too. Enjoy!

Now Try to Match the Actors above to The Queens of The Court Cards Below

(Match them with their most Obvious Queenly Counterparts)

Queen of Swords UprightQueen of Pentacles UprightQueen of Cups Upright

1. A mix of The Queen of Swords, Queen of Pentacles and Queen of Cups. The only one missing is Queen of Wands as not particularly Fiery.

2. The Queen of Swords Upright and Reversed, The Queen of Cups Reversed. Struggles to remain Upright as The Swords Queen. Dysfunctional Queen of Cups. Can’t remember when she last saw The Queen of Pentacles.

Queen of Pentacles UprightQueen of Swords Upright

3. The Queen of Pentacles and The Queen of Swords. Keeps the other Queens within under tight control. They only confuse issues and cause trouble.

Queen of Wands ReversedQueen of Swords Reversed

Queen of Wands Upright Queen of Swords Upright

4. A Mix of The Queen of Wands and Swords. Struggles to keep personality in the Upright State. Flips from one to the other quite rapidly. Can’t help herself at times. Predictable in her unpredictability. No sign of The Queen of Pentacles at all. Queen of Cups is terrified to come out.

Queen of Wands Upright Queen of Swords Upright

Queen of Wands ReversedQueen of Swords Reversed

5. A Deliberate Mix of The Queen of Wands and Swords. Has learned to flip into Reverse and then rapidly back again on demand. Is quite an expert at it. The Queen of Cups only makes brief appearances. Plays at being The Queen of Pentacles when required to.

Queen of Swords UprightQueen of Wands UprightQueen of Cups Upright

6. The Queen of Swords, Queen of Wands and The Queen of Cups. A nice mix but at times they can all border on flipping over into Reverse. Not fully Reversed to cause serious damage, but enough to display extreme characteristics. Quite a handful at times and very dramatic. Could do with The Queen of Pentacles around to ground her.

  1. Lively and interesting way to receive my Tarot lesson for the day, thanks so much for this clever game! I did look ahead because I’m not familiar with a few of the character-personas and I still find reversals confusing. Still a great way to learn. Lady Mary was the easiest for me, followed by Carrie Bradshaw.

  2. Great idea for a post Vivien! Unfortunately I don’t watch any of these programmes so I’m unfamiliar with these characters, but I’m going to give this a go with some of the programmes that I do watch 🙂
