After spending the last two days trying to get the Proofreading facility to work on this Post, or anything else,  I had to give up. The Service says it is temporarily disabled and to check back in a minute, but those minutes of checking back have now turned into two days. So I have given up and have tried to proofread myself. I know they never pick up everything and sometimes are incorrect but on my own when there is a lot of content to review, it is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I have done my best. Whereas I am not looking for anyone to point out my typos to me, I just wanted to apologise in advance. This Post was ready to go two days ago.

INDIVIDUAL HOROSCOPES BELOW

This Month I have taken yet another novel approach with your Tarot Horoscopes. As you know I compile these Tarot Horoscopes not just for entertainment purposes, but also as a means of helping you understand how Cards are linked so that a story, event, situation or personality is revealed. By reading these Tarot Horoscopes you can learn how to weave a story yourself from the associated meanings of the Cards you are presented with.

The Tarot Horoscopes are primarily meant as a Teaching Aid and are not Astrologically Designed. Therefore, there is no need to limit your Reading to just your own Sign. 

This month your Tarotscopes have been compiled as follows:

• All Cards are used except for The Court Cards.
• The Cards are separated into Five separate piles. The Four Suits are split so that you end up with a pile of Wands, a pile Cups, a pile of Swords and a pile of Pentacles. The Fifth Pile belongs to the 22 Cards of The Major Arcana.
• The Cards are cleared and put in their Upright Position.
• For Each Reading, I start first with the Pile of Wands and shuffle, reversing a couple as I go. I Ask of the Wands, The Fire Element, what relevant information it has for a particular sign for the month of August. I take the Card from the top of the Pile once shuffling has been completed and place this Card on the table in front of me. I then do the same for the remaining Four Piles, remembering to ask of the corresponding Element/Suit what information it has for the Sign in question.
• When this is done I now have in front of me, one Wand, one Cup, one Sword, one Pentacle and one Major Arcana Card.
• I now take in the whole Reading, the Four Cards. I see a story begin to form. It may be  right, it may be wrong, but I do not have any in particular I am Reading for, so I go with the story that comes to mind. However, even though I am looking at the story as a whole, I now want to break up the Reading into the individual Cards so that I can demonstrate where my story has come from.
• Starting with The Wands Card, I begin to interpret it as it is but try to also keep in mind the nature of The Sign I am Reading for. The story sits at the back of my mind and guides me through the individual interpretations so that I do not use every possible association for each Card as I do not want it to come across as a ‘catch all Reading’. The Reading has a very definite story, even if I know it will not resonate with everyone who Reads it. It would be impossible for me to do a reading that would reflect everyone of that particular Sign. So this is more about finding a story in the Cards and then putting it together bit by bit.
• I do the same with the Cups, Swords and Pentacles.
• With The Major Arcana I look to find the Key Message the Reading is trying to impart. I search the cards for connections and links that will give meaning to the Major one and vice versa. I find a way of interweaving them so that it all makes sense. I trust my intuition and the story that finally comes together under the guidance of The Major Arcana Card. This Cards pulls the other Four Cards together and gives the Reading some weight. It adds flesh to the bones of the individual Suit Cards.
• Finally I write up a summary of my observations and why I think such is such and so is so. I explain my connections and demonstrate where the final story has come from. The story is told from the aspects of The Four Elements and the Key Message of The Major Arcana. The summary literally sums the whole thing up and comes to conclusions.

****I must remind you once again that these Tarotscopes are not based on true Astrological Horoscopes where alignment of planets and their configuration is taken into account.  Without a specific individual to Read for, I try to interpret the individual Readings going by my gut feelings.

Remember not to take these Tarotscopes too seriously or literally as they are meant for Fun and most importantly, as a Novel Teaching Aid. They also stretch me as a Reader to compile a Reading for each Sign based on the Cards drawn, rather than Reading for an individual who has a particular question or issue. As with any Generic Horoscope, some people reading them will find them very relevant, while for others they will mean absolutely nothing. I do hope you get some enjoyment or even amusement out of Reading your own Tarotscope.

Aries – (Mar 21-Apr 20)

Wands – Fire Element (Work, Motivation, Inspiration, Optimism, Activity, Travel)

Ace of Wands – The Fire Element brings you a brand new surge of energy and inspiration this month. The Ace of Wands gifts you the potential to get up and moving with any plans or ideas you have been toying with. August brings a new lease of life and a wonderful sense of adventure and fun. This may all come down to heading  off on Summer Vacation or it may simply be a feeling of joie de vivre due to the bright evenings and warm weather (this side of the world obviously). For certain it is a time to shake off the blues and get out and about and active. Your energy will be high as well as enthusiasm and motivation so make it work for you and do not let this time and feeling go to waste.

Cups – Water Element (Emotions, Feelings, Happiness, Relationships, Family, Creativity and Spirituality)

Five of Cups Reversed– There seems to be a welcome relief as a depressing or upsetting period in your life is eventually coming to an end this month. You will feel a definite sense of healing setting in and a renewed interest in life once more. This card suggests that you have been through a difficult time of late and have not been feeling your normal self at all. This may indicate a time of forgiveness or self-forgiveness. Enough time has been spent in mourning or regretting a situation of the past. It is now time to move on and come back to the land of the living once more.

Swords – Air Element (Thoughts, Attitudes, Mentality,Intellect, Ideas, Plans, Communication, Stress, Conflict)

Six of Swords – This Card also brings a welcome relief in your life as you are seen moving slowly away from a period of stress, conflict or difficulty. You could also be recovering from an illness and are now well into the recovery stage. However, it is important to understand that this may be a slow process. Progress is definitely being made which is long overdue. You can look forward to a calmer and more peaceful time where you can regroup and take a breather from all the stress in your life. However, even though you believe you are on the road to recovery, it is vitally important that you check to see if you are carrying any unnecessary baggage that may weigh you down and slow your journey to restoration. It may also rise up again further down the road, just when you think you have dealt with the issues you are striving to move away from. Travel lightly and leave any deadweight attitudes and negativity behind you.

Pentacles – Earth Element (Practicality, Finances, Security, Productivity, Manifestation, Commerce, Goals, Commitment,  Health) 

Six of Pentacles – This Card suggests that the Month of August will see you getting back on your feet again and finding some sort of solution to your situation. You may eventually secure yourself a job or receive help from an external source. Don’t let your pride stand in the way of you accepting any offers of help or assistance that come your way. You may not feel it is the solution that you had hoped for but believe me it is a start and can only get better from here on in. This works the other way around too as in if you feel that you can help someone else out then make sure to step forward and make the offer. Give without any strings attached. This Six could indicate that you financial situation is beginning to stabilise. You are now beginning to see some real progress being made as bills get paid and debts begin to reduce. Keep your head down and keep at it until you have achieved your aims. This card could also suggest that your health is beginning to stabilise once more after a period of illness.

Major Arcana Card – The Key Lesson

Death – Change and transformation are key for you right now regardless of how difficult they may appear to be. This card suggests that change has been needed for some time now but you have been putting it off. It is time to let go of something in your life. This could be a person, place, thing, attitude, idea or plan. It is either unworkable or has run its course. It is time to move on and painful as it might be, look to the future and a new dawn. A part of your life is over and cannot be retrieved regardless of how much you try to force it.

Summary – Certainly looks like you are on the brink of coming out of a difficult time this month Aries. All the cards are pointing to a release from a period of stress, upset, conflict or struggle. I feel that you have decided to do something about your situation this month rather than just sit there moping about it. The Ace of Wands shows that you are prepared to take charge once more and grab hold of life again. You are determined to change your attitude and outlook and are ready to open the door to Death so that he can gain access to your life and do his work. You realise that change is needed and That Ace of Wands is the Card that will bring you quite spectacularly out of this low period with courage and determination. This Ace gives you the opportunity to make a fresh start. Once you have made your decisions and strengthened your resolve the rest will follow and you will be able to start living again. Watch out for those Six Swords that may still be hanging out of you. You may not be consciously aware of them but be on the lookout for any signs of relapse. If so you need to change your attitude and deal with any lingering issues.

Taurus – (Apr 21–May 21)

Two of Wands – Where the Fire Element is concerned this month Taurus it has you feeling quite restless and unsettled in yourself. There may be a sense of boredom about you and wondering where you fit into the big picture. Nothing is terribly wrong but what has satisfied you up until now is now being questioned and looked on in a different light. Your normal contentedness with routine and habits is being given a shake-up leaving you pondering any other options that may be available to you. There is a desire to get away and expose yourself to new experiences. This sudden restlessness may be down to an event or incident that has occurred. It may have left you feeling that you want to get as far away as possible from where you are, what you are doing and even the people around you.  Maybe you suddenly see yourself as stuck in a rut while others seem free to come and go as they please. Is it that everyone else is having fun while you are left with  the same old drudgery everyday. Even though you feel suddenly very rebellious, it may not be enough to actually fire you into action as pay attention to that Wand bolted to the wall.

Cups – Water Element (Emotions, Feelings, Happiness, Relationships, Family, Creativity and Spirituality)

The Seven of Cups Reversed – Yes Taurus, the mists of confusion will begin to clear this month and when they do, it will be clear to you exactly what it is you want.  It is as if you are taking the time to stop and question what the hell you are doing with your life and are seeing it in a whole new light. However,  this could result in making you feel quite depressed or bemoaning the fact that you have few options and little opportunities to take advantage of. However, you may also have been offered a golden opportunity but took so long deliberating over it that the window of opportunity has now closed.  This may make you feel very frustrated.  There is a desire to actively do something about making your dreams a reality or at least to feel determined to start doing so. Even if you have missed the boat on a certain opportunity, there are bound to be more around if you look hard enough. To make the necessary changes that will bring you into a more balanced stated of being, you will need to sort a few things out. You could easily be seeing your true situation for the first time and are acknowledging that it is not how it should be. Your life is a bit all over the place and this does not sit very well with you.  Action is required of you now and it is time to begin to go after your dreams or goals in a very determined manner. To do so, you need to make some changes first and get your priorities in order. Time to wake up from your listlessness and implement change. Be on your guard against chasing after the first apparent opportunity that comes your way. Your eagerness for change could result in your jumping from the frying pan to the fire. It is important to stay grounded during this time.

Swords – Air Element (Thoughts, Attitudes, Mentality,Intellect, Ideas, Plans, Communication, Stress, Conflict)

The Seven of Swords – Time to use your wits Taurus and come up with a cunning plan of action which will help you achieve your goals. This is not a time to sit around and analyse too much. Rather it is a time to think on your feet and make some rapid decisions. This card tells me that you want to run with some plan or idea you have. You may have got this idea from someone else or simply by doing some research. Before you get carried away, ensure that it is permissible for you to use or work with these ideas. You may find that there are some restrictions or conditions around your plans or that you are forbidden to use them. They may be the sole property of another. Check it out first and get the proper permission. Don’t just think no one will find out as it may backfire on you in the long run and bring a heap of trouble down on you. On the other hand, this Card suggests underhand and sneaky behaviour. If you are working on something guard against talking about it too much or sharing your ideas with others. Someone may see the brilliance in your idea and put into action before you get a chance to. You could lose out. There seems an urgency about you now Taurus and a desire to move fast on something. This is admirable but be sure in your speed of advancement that you constantly keep an eye on where you are going.

Pentacles – Earth Element (Practicality, Finances, Security, Productivity, Manifestation, Commerce, Goals, Commitment,  Health) 

The Seven of Pentacles Reversed – There is a desire or temptation to move with a plan that has not been properly worked out. Have you forgotten a business plan Taurus? Don’t think you can successfully achieve your goals without one? On the other hand, you may already have one but when is the last time you looked at it or amended it? You may need to make a few alterations and update it as your situation or the situation around you might have changed. This is often down to lack of continuity with working on your plans, idea or project. You might be doing a bit, then stopping and leaving it for some time before you go back to it. Are you taking too many breaks from the job at hand. There is also a danger of getting involved in a scheme or project that will not yield the returns you are expecting. Here you will have no one to blame but yourself for you are too eager to get to the finish line that you are not taking stock of what it is that is needed to achieve this. You might think that very little effort or hard work is required of you in this instance but that is where you are mistaken. Don’t believe anyone if they try to tell you otherwise. You know yourself there are not many opportunities that result in quick returns and rewards Taurus. Hard, sustained work and effort is the only way to achieve your goals. Apply some common sense and get back to work.

Major Arcana Card – The Key Lesson

The Emperor – Time to get your house in order and clean up your act. The Emperor has appeared to tell you that you may have gotten a bit sloppy in your approach or that you have begun to drift. You are likely to be achieving very little at present and there will be a lack of productivity. This is more than likely down to you not being able to properly settle on the task at hand. The Emperor arrives to give you a much needed kick in the ass. He commands you to restore order in your life and get back on the straight and narrow. He also tells you that if there is something you badly want to do, you must take charge of the situation and sort it out. He asks you to write lists of things to do and then methodically work through them. He tells you it is the only way you will know that you are achieving your aims. You need short-term, medium-term and long-term goals. You also have to draw up your boundaries and parameters. Understand your strengths so that you can capitalise on them and your weaknesses so that you can work on them. He also tells you to come into your own power and be your own person. Do not be misled by those around you who wish you to believe that they know more than you. You need to re-establish stability and security in your life and this can only be done by applying self-discipline and self-control. If you want to be in charge than take charge.

Summary – Seems like you will be going through an unsettled month Taurus. It is clear from your cards that you are in some sort of transition from one way to life to another. You appear to be looking for more from life and it is possible that you have suddenly woken up and acknowledged that you are fed up with the way things are. You want more from life and any old dreams and plans might begin to resurface making you want to grab at them with a dreadful sense of urgency. You might feel you have missed the boat and are desperate to catch the next one as it might be the last. You have three sevens in your reading with one of those reversed. You are up against some challenging urges this month Taurus and will need to exercise strong self-control and self-discipline. With the Reversed Seven of Pentacles, it is telling you that your approach is wrong and that you need to let go of what you are doing as it is more than likely not going to work. The Seven of Cups Reversed shows that there is a lot going on this month which has you in several different mind-sets but you must carefully work with the energies of this card to determine where you should be focusing your attention on. You can’t do everything so you will have to prioritise. Separate the more fanciful and far-fetched ideas or dreams from the ones that are more practical and realistic and start with those first. As The Emperor advises, you need to ground Taurus so that you can achieve your goals this month or at least start out on the right track. The Seven of Swords is a cautionary card. It gives both powerful messages that will help you achieve your goals but also a strong warning of being careful to take the right approach. Use the energy of this card wisely and for the greater good of all. Do not fall foul of underhand ways or trying to pull a fast one. Also, don’t lose sight in where you are going and what you are doing. Think things through carefully and don’t engage in any hair-brained ideas.  The Emperor is there to oversee your return to stability, law and order. He will help you formulate a sensible and grounded plan of action. He does not want to hear a lot of gibberish out of you, just the facts and the certainties. It is clear that you need to restore order in your life this month so that you can become productive once more.

Gemini – (May 22–June 21)

Wands – Fire Element (Work, Motivation, Inspiration, Optimism,Activity, Travel)

The Seven of Wands – This month sees you facing quite a challenging situation Gemini. You seem to be under attack of some sort and you will be put in a situation where you will have to defend yourself, your actions, opinions or beliefs. This attack may come from a group who appear to gang up on you. There may be envy, jealousy or betrayal involved, or perhaps you have done something that has enraged those around you. Whatever it is Gemini, you will be able to withstand this onslaught once you refuse to lower yourself to their standards. At all times seek the higher ground and your steely determination will see them off. This may just be the mob mentality and really they are probably all talk and no action. However, they are at least an unwelcome irritation and at worse a severe disruption to you getting on with your work or life. It is for sure they want to take you down but that will not happen for you are well able for them. This could be an issue from the past coming back at you and if so you will have to deal with it or it will never go away. What is upsetting here, is that the attack may be coming from those you thought were your friends or allies. This might come as quite a shock and leave you very confused and distressed.

Cups – Water Element (Emotions, Feelings, Happiness, Relationships, Family, Creativity and Spirituality)

The Ace of Cups Reversed – Disappointment, upset and bad feelings are brought to you by this card. You may feel very disillusioned by life or those around you. The upset here is genuine and you may feel at a loss as to what has caused this Cup to Reverse. This card tells me that you had actually being perfectly happy and considered all to be well in your life. You may not have seen this coming which makes it all the more distressing. Something has gone wrong or sour. Could it have been that you chose to ignore the tell-tale signs, did not want to believe what others hinted at? You are at a loss now or feel emotionally unfulfilled or let down.

The Nine of Swords Reversed – Distress, upset and feeling very lonely indeed. However, there may be a touch of paranoia here. You may believe that things are actually worse than they really are. Something may have happened to make you retreat from the world so that you can wrap yourself up in your woes. You are dreadfully upset and naturally think the worst. Afraid to face the world, you may have locked yourself away, shocked to the core as to why this has happened to you. You need to gain some form of control over your thoughts and emotions now before you slink into despair. It is sure that you are losing sleep and worrying yourself into a tizzy. It might all be a storm in a teacup with your imagination run riot.

Pentacles – Earth Element (Practicality, Finances, Security, Productivity, Manifestation, Commerce, Goals, Commitment,  Health) 

Four of Pentacles – This is definitely a card for keeping to oneself. There is a rigidity about it that screams ‘stay away for I want to be alone’. This card finds you closely guarded and wary this month. There is a sense of protecting yourself here and putting up your defences. You may also be holding onto a secret of some sort that you feel you cannot share with anyone. You have adopted an unapproachable stance. Be careful not to distance yourself too much as no man is an island. We all need a friend and you do have plenty. I just feel you are finding it hard to trust people at the moment and are keeping to yourself until you can make some sense out of your situation. You have closed down to a certain extent and if you do not shake yourself out of this state soon, it may become entrenched. You look bitter and fixed in your stance in this card Gemini.

Major Arcana Card – The Key Lesson

The Hermit – Some alone time is needed and a serious retreat from the normal everyday distractions of your life. You have a lot to think about and need to do some proper soul searching in order to get the answers to some deep questions. This is a card for maturity and growing up. It symbolises a time when you must take the time to understand yourself on a much deeper level. It is a card for self-development and inner growth. You need some time out now to regain balance and a true sense of self. You will not be able to do this if you continue in your normal routine. The Hermit can suggest that the running away from life and your issues must end. You must learn to understand why you are the way you are and where you fit into the world. It is a time for complete honesty with the self and for accepting your share of responsibility in a situation. Often those outside see time spent with The Hermit as a lonely, dull and a boring waste of time. This is when The Hermit is deliberately denied or shied away from. No one who has taken the time out to visit with The Hermit and allow his energies to penetrate theirs ever thinks it to be a waste of time. On the contrary, they come back from The Hermit with a great sense of inner peace and self-knowledge. They understand where they came from and what formed them. They accept the aspects of them that cannot be changed and are aware of the areas where change is not only possible but strongly advisable. They have a strong sense of where they want to go and who they want around them. After spending time with The Hermit, you might want to implement change in many areas of your life. When The Hermit appears, there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you and better days to come. He teaches you how to be alone without being lonely.

Summary – A trying month for you Gemini with a lot of stressful cards. It appears that an incident or situation may blow up and this could be out of the blue. You could be taken unawares by the suddenness of it all and this will cause you to reel with disbelief and upset. You might feel that the world is against you and that you can trust no one. However, there is a chance that you might be over-dramatising a situation that could be dealt with quickly but you feel stung to the core by what has happened. You could also be the instigator of any trouble and were going along quite happy until those around you reacted. Your pride might take a hit and you could end up feeling very sorry for yourself indeed. This will cause you to blank everyone who remotely tries to connect with you. Only you can decide whether you have brought this situation on yourself or whether you are being treated terribly unfairly by those around you? Are you being accused in the wrong or are you guilty as sin? If you are innocent then stand up for yourself as in The Seven of Wands but if you are guilty, accept your responsibility and face up to the consequences. There is a huge difference between the ‘stay away from me’ stance of The Four of Pentacles and The Spiritual Retreat of The Hermit. The Four of Pentacles will stubbornly oppose accepting any responsibility while The Hermit will lead to self-understanding and a mature acceptance of responsibility.

Cancer – ( June 22-July 22)

Wands – Fire Element (Work, Motivation, Inspiration, Optimism,Activity, Travel)

The Four of Wands – Family occasions and celebrations dominate the month for you Cancer and although this has been greatly looked forward to, it has taken up a lot of your time. You know you love a good party and especially when you are given a chance to express your creativity, you can go a bit wild. Therefore, you have been working around the clock ensuring that everything looks amazing and every minute detail has been attended too. There could be the wedding of the year to sort out the last minute details for or a huge family gathering. People are coming from far and wide to attend and be part of the whole occasion. Sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, aunts and uncles will be re-uniting and I feel that it will be up to you to entertain them. You possibly have to accommodate some of them too. You may be awaiting the homecoming of a very important person and want to impress.  It is all very exciting but you will need to pace yourself as you don’t want to be a wreck on the day. You also have to think of yourself other than as the chief organiser.  If you are not careful, people will sit back and let you do all the work. Make sure you have the energy to enjoy yourself too when the time comes.

Cups – Water Element (Emotions, Feelings, Happiness, Relationships, Family, Creativity and Spirituality)

The Six of Cups – Here we have the second family and home card coming in and I feel strongly that they are very connected. It really just continues the theme of the first card but this time it has a stronger family feel to it. You are either returning home for a big event or are waiting for those to come home. The clan are gathering this month and there will be some faces from the past that you haven’t seen in a long time. There will be much to catch up on and chat about. You may be wondering if the years have been kind to certain people from your past and you are bound to worry about what everyone will think of you. You will probably go to great lengths to make the very best of yourself. This card often refers to returning home on a sad occasion but with The Four of Wands beside it, this is a happy occasion. The Family are drawing close now and the past will begin to blend with the present. It may seem surreal at times and you are likely to become sentimental and nostalgic. There may be some members of the family who have passed away and you are feeling their absence quite strongly. You are doing great and have the place looking fantastic. Everyone will enjoy themselves and will remember this occasion for some time to come.

The Four of Swords – Now here is your first stressful card. You must guard against overdoing it this month and getting too anxious about all the work you have to do. I know you are inclined to want to do everything yourself because you are the only person who knows exactly what you want and how it should be. However, you may need to start thinking of delegating some of the more tedious tasks to those around you who are ready and willing to help. You are fussing over everything and wearing yourself out. Really, you do not have to climb up on top of every cupboard to clean the dust or start hand stitching new pillow cases for the beds and knitting presents for your Aunt June who admired your sweater last time she was home. Calm down, for you might be going overboard and wearing yourself down to a frazzle. There are only a certain number of hours in the day and days in the week. You can only achieve so much, so you will have to prioritise. Any guests you are accommodating won’t be climbing up on cupboards to check for dust, nor will they be expecting Five Star standards. They certainly won’t be expecting to see you barely able to keep your eyes open for they are looking forward to your company and getting together with family and friends. The rest will fade into the background and you will kick yourself after the event for being too tired to enjoy the party. Get to bed early and get some proper rest under your belt before it all kicks off.

Pentacles – Earth Element (Practicality, Finances, Security, Productivity, Manifestation, Commerce, Goals, Commitment,  Health) 

The Nine of Pentacles – Here is your reassurance card. Everything is going to work out perfectly and my, don’t you look very elegant in  your beautiful outfit. Your garden is amazing too. How do you do it? Listen, you are going to pull this one off spectacularly and practically single-handed too. Your standards are very high and it certainly will shine through everything you have arranged. Actually you could do this for a business as you have the knack. Everything will flow smoothly and will be a wonderful success. However, this is also a card for enjoying time on your own and having some peace and quiet. There may come a stage this month when it will all seem too much, and after all the excitement the tiredness will set in. However, you may be obliged to continue entertaining for some time after. You may have house guests who even though they do not expect your undivided attention, you will put yourself under pressure to show them a good time and to sit up late chatting each night. You could easily get to a stage where you feel you will go mad if you do not get your house back to yourself again. It is great to see your guests but it is also great to see them go. There will be a desire to return to normal routine after the excitement has worn down. You may actually think of taking a break yourself as you will feel quite drained. The High Priestess – This card comes in in contrast to the rest of the reading and one would wonder what the connection is, but for me, I felt that this High Priestess is used to her own company, and peaceful, tranquil surroundings. She generally goes about her business in a calm and non-fussed manner. She manages to just get things done and has a natural intuition that serves her well. She just knows what will work and what won’t. She is very strongly feminine and this expresses itself in her surroundings. Not in the extravagant and flamboyant way of The Empress, but rather in  a more subdued, refined and cool sophisticated manner. She has hidden depths that when the occasion calls for it, can dive down to their deepest depths and pluck something marvellous, bespoke and unique that will be perfectly fitting for the occasion. The Chariot – Oh what an appropriate card in this line up. Here we have tenacity, determination, self-discipline, self-control and a strong sense of self-belief. This may have been forced on you by others as they looked to you sort out the problems or deal with any unpleasantness. On the other hand, this card often points to voluntarily taking on the Lion’s share of the burden and this could be for a variety of reasons. You could be that type of personality who cannot say no and believe that you can manage everything that comes your way. By constantly saying that three letter word ‘yes’ you end up taking on monstrous obligations and responsibilities that everyone else has understandably declined. Everyone knows that you can be relied upon and as a result people can put a saddle on your back and ride you to hell. This has been a long haul and with all those swords stuck in your back, you have felt the pain of every single one along with the loss of your life blood and energy. It has all been too much up until now and you probably thought you were not going to survive it, but you are being thrown a life-line now Scorpio, and as weakened as you might be, and already resigned to your fate, there is a way out now and a chance to sort your problems. In the Ace of Pentacles, the gateway stands open at the bottom of the garden with a pathway leading off into the distance. The Wheel of Fortune – A cycle has eventually come to an end and you can feel the change in the air. There is a good chance that the cycle you are just coming out of was pretty difficult based on your surrounding cards. Fear not, for change is rapidly approaching and you are for now being let off the hook. Your circumstances should begin to improve as the month goes on now and you will be feeling in much better spirits. You can, even now, begin to look back on the retreating cycle and view it from a better perspective. You will learn a lot about yourself in the process and how well you handled all the cycle’s ups and downs. Some of the bad things may not seem so bad now, yet you will agree on the times that you never wish to go through again. You are left in a situation now where you are free to count your blessings as you eventually break the surface and come up for air. Summary – A difficult month Scorpio. The Eight of Wands Reversed – Here we have a premature release of energy, ideas, plans, projects or a course of action. There is a sense of impulsiveness and impatience about this card. This Eight is reversed which removes its power and strength. In the Upright version of this card a powerful building momentum accompanies these Wands as they fly fast and furiously towards their intended destination. Whoever released them has calculated exactly where and when they will land so that hey hit their intended target. However, now that they are Reversed we get a weakening of that momentum and a drop in power. It is uncertain if these Wands have the strength to make it, and even know that they are supposed to fly in unison. Some may drift or veer in different directions resulting in a weakening of the intended objectives. There is a chance that the outcome of launching whatever these Wands represent to you Sagittarius, will be disappointing. The thing is you really had something going here but did not give enough time for preparation. You may have launched before the time was right or have failed to launch at all. As this is a travel card, there is also the possibility that holidays are at an end requiring you to return home and all the depressing feelings that accompany that. Your holiday may also have been a bit of a let-down and you must ask why this is? What was the problem? The destination or the accommodation?  You may have set off with no real plan and ended up just drifting, and now you feel as if you have wasted your time. You may have done little in researching where you were going, but just grabbed at the first available one on offer. There is also a chance that any travel arrangements may be cancelled for one reason or another.

Nine of Cups Reversed – Not a happy camper at all Sagittarius. This card sees you all prepared for celebrations, fun and good times but the planned party has been ruined. Either no one has turned up or it had to be called off. Did you forget to send out the invitations or did you not give your guests sufficient notice? This is the Wish Card upside down so this means that you either don’t get what you wished for, or do, but wish you hadn’t. What was intended to be a great time, might end in disaster or turn into a complete non-event. This will leave you feeling very down as you had so built up your hopes for this one. You seem to be alone in this card and with the above card coming into play, could it be that everyone else is off having fun while you are left at home alone? You certainly are not ‘happy in your nappy’ right now. If this is tied in with vacation you may find yourself dressed up to the nines ready for a great night ahead only to discover your chosen resort or destination is not yet in season. You may be only one of a few guests. Not even the restaurants or bars have opened for the season.  A real party pooper and no one to admire how you look and little chance of any holiday flirtation or romance.

Six of Swords Reversed – Oh dear, another Reversed Card for you Sagittarius. Here we have a group who had initially intended exchanging their worries and cares for a trouble-free, calm and relaxing time. However, for some reason or other the boat has been forced to turn around and instead of putting distance between them and their hectic, stressful lives, they are heading right back into the thick of it. They had thought they were getting away and were looking forward to their boat docking at their destination on the far side of the water. Something has happened to cause this turnabout. Their boat may have sprung a leak or maybe they never checked it’s seaworthiness before  boarding and heading off. There may have been business or problems that they thought would get sorted without their presence but now it is discovered that they cannot leave until they have been sorted. Their plan may have been to just run away from it all and leave the mess to someone else but they haven’t got away with it. Their journey has been halted, postponed, rescheduled, cancelled or ruined by circumstances beyond their control.  It is possible that thoughts of getting away were simply all in their head. A case of wishful thinking. They may need a break, wish for it, but they may not be in a situation at this moment in time to go anywhere.

Pentacles – Earth Element (Practicality, Finances, Security, Productivity, Manifestation, Commerce, Goals, Commitment,  Health) 

Two of Pentacles – I think we have found the key to all the previous reversed cards. It all points to a lack of finances at present. Financially things are all a bit of a juggle. You may be working hard to stay on top of bills and debts. It may be a very expensive time of the year for you. Your car tax and insurance renewal forms may have slipped through the letterbox leaving you with very little spare cash to spend on yourself. August may be a month when instead of splashing out on going out and about, and of course on vacation, you may have to tighten your belt and sit this one out at home. You may also have to do some extra work this month. Your employer may have left you with little choice but to do some overtime to cover for employees who are on vacation at present.If this is considered part of your job then you may not even get paid for it. You are bound to feel resentful this month Sagittarius and with your reputation for being impulsive, and your sheer hatred of restriction or confinement, there is a danger of you lashing something onto your credit card that you can ill afford. Try your best not to give into the temptation. Work out what your budget is and stick to it. If you have nothing left after paying your bills then you will just have to be sensible and accept it. Your time will come soon enough. If you have a little left then you will have to work within the confines of that. You can dream all you like about what you want to be doing but the reality of your present circumstances will bring you down to earth. A tough month for you financially.

Major Arcana Card – The Key Lesson

The Fool Reversed – Yet again another Reversed Card. This Card indicates the yearning you have to be free and to come and go as you please yet the timing is off. You are not in a position right now to do anything about this. You desire to be away from it all but you have obligations, commitments and responsibilities that have to be taken care of.  This leaves you extremely frustrated and impatient with life and those around you. You feel that it is not fair and you could work yourself up into taking some form of action that you would see as justifiable but what others would call foolish. When this card reverses it acts as a warning that you are about to do something that is not likely to work out as you would wish. In fact it could completely backfire on you and leave you having to clean up a huge mess. The Time is not right, your plans are not in place yet, your research not complete and thorough enough and you have unfinished business to attend to. This is not a time for sailing off into the sunset or doing as you please. Any Acts of so called spontaneity now may turn into recklessness. The Fool is also a card for travel and as it is Reversed it could be pointing to a return from holidays, a holiday that didn’t go as planned, or needing badly to get away but being unable to do so. Poor judgement and decision making processes accompany The Fool Reversed.

Summary – My slant on all these cards Sagittarius is that you are desperate to get away from it all. You badly need a holiday or have at least convinced yourself that you do. However, you find that at the moment you cannot go anywhere. You may not have the money to go or have to pull out of plans as unexpected bills arrive. You may have been dreaming of the perfect vacation for some time now but might find this month that you have to put your dreams on hold. There is a chance that external circumstances may also be to blame for delays or cancellations in travel. It may all be out of your hands. With so many reversed travel cards you might be lured in to scouring the net looking for just about any cheap deals that are to be found. This may not be a good idea because you might end up terribly regretting spending the little bit of money you have on the vacation from hell. Worse still if you decide to throw caution to the wind and book a vacation solely with your credit card. The Fool Reversed tells you that any such hasty decisions are not likely to work out favourably. You will have to sit this one out and wait until everything is in place before you can release those Eight Wands into orbit. Then you will know for certain that you are free to go, free to enjoy yourself and free to spend without any niggling black clouds following you around and gathering en masse for you on your return. Your time will come Sagittarius, but not right now. Exercise patience and do not begrudge anyone else their freedom this month.

Capricorn – (Dec 22-Jan 20)

The Five of Wands – Petty irritations, minor squabbles and disruptions to business as normal will set the tone for the month of August Capricorn. With this card we certainly see a lack of team spirit or group cooperation. There is an air of discontent and simmering tempers. Here we have a group scene of disgruntled personalities who appear to have little in common. They might normally get on fine but something has stirred up a feeling of every man for himself as people lash out indiscriminately at each other. Everyone is annoyed for one reason or another but it is hard to hear the individual grievances with all the racket that is going on. They need to at least agree on someone who will act as spokesperson so that their collective grumbles are communicated effectively. Capricorn, it just seems like everyone has a problem right now and you really are not in the mood for this disruption. There is a chance that you view their issues as petty and ridiculous but they see them as being valid and important. It would be wise to find a way to bring any conflict to a peaceful conclusion before it escalates. This could come down to a group of friends at loggerheads about something, or it could be a family or workplace dispute. Compromise is key here as everyone feels that their demands are the greatest and should take priority over everyone else’s. A way forward has to be found and everyone involved could start by acknowledging that each other has a perfectly good reason to feel the way they do. This group or team need to be brought back into alignment so that everything and everyone can settle down.

Cups – Water Element (Emotions, Feelings, Happiness, Relationships, Family, Creativity and Spirituality)

The Three of Cups Reversed – A falling out between friends. Here we find the second group card and it is reversed. The second card that points to a lack of teamwork. This suggests arguments between friends, a lack of friends and  unhealthy friendships.  It also suggests too much socialising with friends, as in partying to excess, too much alcohol and hedonistic living. However we will for the moment stick with the falling out between a group of people. This group could also be a group that normally work very closely together but in their reversed state have all retreated into their own corner. Things are not right between a group of people and if something has blown up or something said as a result of too much partying and drinking then it is a sign that it has all got out of hand. What starts as a great night out can end in rows and accusations when it all gets too much. If you are involved in a group of people who seem to be constantly getting into arguments and petty rows, then maybe it is time to find some new friends. There is a lack of teamwork in this card and those who should be pulling together are now giving each other the cold shoulder. Very little can be achieved with such energy hanging around. Everyone may be too stubborn to do anything about it.  Someone needs to intervene.

Swords – Air Element (Thoughts, Attitudes, Mentality,Intellect, Ideas, Plans, Communication, Stress, Conflict)

The Two of Swords – Here we see an impasse of some kind. A woman sits with two swords crossed at her heart. She is blindfolded. Her appearance seems both fearful and stubborn all at once. She looks to be unapproachable and is not open to communication. Her crossed swords suggest she does not wish to speak in this instance. This is a card of stalemate. A decision or decisions have to be made but there is much reluctance to do so. There may be good reason for this. What has to be decided upon may be at cross purposes. This could leave you confused as to what to do. There is certainly a dilemma going on here and someone involved does not want to know anything about it. They would prefer it all just disappeared and as a result are prepared to put their head in the sand or turn away from this pressing matter. Denial may be involved or there may be deep anger fuelling their refusal to budge on this subject. You will have to work hard to get past such opposition. Fence-sitting will drag this situation on and on so great effort must now be made to draw this individual, and it may be you, out from under their blindfold. You will need to reassure them that no one is out to get them and that it is perfectly safe to voice their opinion and lay down their swords. Once the swords, (stress, anger, aggression) has been defused, it will open the door to communication and understanding. This might all be down to gross misunderstanding and a lack of communication at the end of the day.

Pentacles – Earth Element (Practicality, Finances, Security, Productivity, Manifestation, Commerce, Goals, Commitment,  Health) 

The Eight of Pentacles Reversed – This card tells me that normal routine, life, work or business has been disturbed and is not running as it should be. If it is work related, based on the previous cards, workers may have downed tools or there is a problem in the workplace. There may not be enough work to keep everyone as busy and occupied as they used to be. However, this could just point to people being away on vacation or a quiet time. When this card is upright we see dedicated and committed work. People have their heads down and are giving it their best. This does not just apply to the workplace and business, but to any area of your life. People are usually happy to get on with what they are doing. They like to do and give their best and have a sense of pride about them. They put effort and commitment into what they get involved in, be it a relationship, friendship, family, their home or work. However, this card is reversed and we lose the sense of pride when this happens along with commitment and loyalty. Anything goes and there is a dreadful lack of interest. No one is making any effort at all and boy does it show. In business this is not a very productive time at all and you will have to look around you to see if there is any troubling cause for this, or whether it is just that time of the year. You also need to ask if you are working your staff too hard or expecting too much of them? Are they getting ample reward and recognition for effort put in? Do they get adequate breaks and quality time home with their family? If not, there may be some unrest.

Major Arcana Card – The Key Lesson

Temperance – Here is the angel of peace. Temperance arrives to restore balance and harmony to areas where it has been lost or in need of serious adjustment. This card brings healing to all. You are being called on to act as the Peacemaker. Temperance does this by finding the right balance that will restore order in your universe. She blends the contents of her two cups until she finds just the right mix, not too much, not too little, that is needed for each particular situation. She then takes the appropriate action, and without fuss, noise or any great show, she moves to calm and soothe all involved. Her presence suggests that you need to look at your situation for there are areas that are out of balance. A conscious effort must be made to restore equilibrium to a destabilised situation. She is a calming presence and reassures you that all will be well. Your issues can be turned around just by all involved adjusting their stance, attitudes and actions. Feelings will settle. You can work this out peacefully as you find a compromise that suits all.

Summary – Judging by your cards there seems to be a lot of conflict and stress surrounding you this month Capricorn. Groups you are involved in seem to be in the throes of arguments, accusations and unpleasantness. Are you an innocent bystander or the instigator of this trouble Capricorn? There appears to be a lack of teamwork and cooperation, and taking your full set of cards into consideration, it is likely to spill over into every area of your life this month. If the right blend is found with sufficient ingredients in the correct proportions to keep everyone happy then any disruptions this month can be brought to a speedy and peaceful conclusion. If not, this could accelerate and get worse. If you are the stubborn one in the middle of all this, try and come down off your high horse for there is nothing to be gained by staying where you are.

The Three of Wands – A man stands on the top of a cliff. He has his back to us and looks out to sea. He is a wearing a travelling cloak. He holds a wand in his right hand. The two Wands from the Two of Wands are planted in the ground behind him.  These two Wands represent a decision that had to be made, and because they are positioned behind him, it suggests that he has already moved on from that stage. The two Wands are planted solidly in the ground and stand bolt upright. This indicates that a firm decision has been made after much deliberation. He now holds a brand new Wand in his hand and it is this Wand he will take with him into the future. This Wand has the fresh energy to drive him forward and sustain him. He has already moved away from the two other Wands as they now belong in the past. He has taken as much from them as he can but they no longer provide him with the energy he needs. He will certainly bring them with him as they are a part of him, but a part that will for the moment stay in the background. However, he may be conscious of their weight as he travels forth.  This Three Card, suggests progress and taking action on a decision, plan or idea. This has taken some time to come around but it has been a simmer that is now reaching boiling point. You are eager to take your first steps into the unknown and away from all you know. New experiences, new locations, new home, new job or new people await you. There is a chance you may be travelling far from the home you know to find that which you are looking for. Bright sunny skies suggest heat and foreign locations, but it may also be a state of mind, one of excitement and enthusiasm. You have already looked into what you are doing and where you are going, and have tried your best to collect as much information as you can, but nothing can replace the knowledge gained by direct experience. To acquire that, you will have to go to  where you will find it instead of viewing from a distance. Until then you will not exactly know whether it suits you or not. Eight of Cups – A man walks away from Eight Cups that are neatly stacked in two rows. He has left a gap between two cups on the top row. This represents a void, and in this instance we are looking at an emotional void. Something is emotionally missing in your life and you need to find out what that is and why it has happened. This card suggests that you have been unhappy or discontent for some time now. Life as you know it has changed for some reason leaving you feeling slightly bereft and unsure. Something may have happened. There might have been a breakup in a relationship, the loss of a job, a change in circumstances, a broken friendship, a financial loss or an upset at home. It may simply come down to feeling unfulfilled and that you are not happy doing what you are doing. The sheen has worn off something that used to give you pleasure and enjoyment, leaving your world tarnished and dull. Maybe you are just realising that you only thought you were enjoying yourself all this time. You may have been deluding yourself all this time and the reality of it could be quite shocking. This card following in the path of the previous two cards to me suggests that after coming to a difficult decision, you are taking a course of action that is creating upsetting ripples all round. Everyone is sad and extremely emotional. It is a difficult time, but one that has to be worked through. Your heart may also be breaking but this is natural under the circumstances. I feel you may be saying goodbye to a certain way of life. You may be going away or making big changes. A relationship may finally be over as you prepare to go your separate ways. The career you seek may take you far from home. You may be relocating or leaving an unfulfilling job. This is a growing up period and is essential for your development. Change however, even for the positive, can be upsetting and distressing, as everyone involved has to get used to a new set of circumstances or arrangements. You may no longer be just around the corner or easily accessed by family. Friends may miss you on their outings and gatherings, work colleagues feel it odd that someone new is doing the work you have done for so long. You may have to get used to not waking up with the same person each day, even if it was you who decided to go. The Ten of Pentacles Reversed – Family and home are involved here, and because it is reversed it suggests that the normal routine and circumstances have been disturbed or turned on their head. This is a family who have been used to living a certain way for some time. There is generally a strong sense of tradition within this group and they normally stand strong and united. Everyone knows their place and can rely strongly on each other. There is loyalty, steadfastness and the security of knowing that solid earth lies below their feet. Nothing changes much, and tomorrow can be relied upon to be very much the same as today. There is continuity and conservatism. This is a very conventional family or group filled to the brim with routine, habits and traditions that generally, apart from exceptional circumstances, never get broken or changed. There is a great sense of security and stability in this type of environment. That is of course when the Card is Upright, but in this instance, it is Reversed. Now change is introduced and it may not go down too well. You may be about to upset the applecart this month when you announce your decisions and the actions you intend to take. There may be shock, disbelief and probably persistent attempts to talk you out of it. The Star indicates that you are entering a period of awakening in your life, a time when you give yourself permission to do the things that are you, the things that you always wanted to do. It is a time of self-exploration and you may discover talents you never realised you had. These talents, skills or gifts are often of an artistic or creative nature and you may be quite surprised by the standard of what you produce. You may in fact have decided to change your life so that you can develop these skills. You may have discovered that what had started off as a hobby has now turned into a grand passion, one that you are determined to pursue and develop. Those around you may have been quite doubtful about your actions but they do not understand the wonderful feelings stirring inside of you. This is a time for pleasing yourself, and you no longer have to pretend to be someone else just to fit in. You now stand out from the crowd rather than being part of it. You feel incredibly positive this month and will marvel at the way things have worked out. You have decided to follow your star and become a star player in your own life. There is a wonderful sense of feeling that you have eventually arrived at long last. The future looks bright Aquarius and it won’t be long before all the doubting Thomases  will agree that you have done the right thing.

Summary – A month of some major changes Aquarius. This is both an exciting and upsetting time for you. You have arrived at a decision after realising that there was more to life than what you have known up until now. You have taken the time to deliberate long and hard and now feel convinced of what it is that you have to do. There is a strong sense of moving away from the past and what you are used to as you venture forth into new territory and new experiences. This can be quite daunting especially when you are doing it on your own. There is a chance that you are moving away from a longstanding group or family and your decisions may leave everyone feeling a bit upset and unsure. After all you are changing a scene that has been the same for a long time. You could be the first one to make the break. There is something very special you are going after, otherwise you wouldn’t be uprooting yourself to such an extent. There is a goal you want to pursue or a dream you wish to realise. Nothing is going to stand in your way and The Star Card supports you choices. It is time now to do what you have to do and release any worries or concerns you may have for others as they will be fine. You have handled the situation in a very conscientious manner and taken every one’s feelings into consideration. There is nothing more you can do except go and live your own life now safe in the knowledge that the Gods are smiling down on you. The Star will light the road ahead. Make sure to follow it.

Pisces – (Feb 20-Mar 20)

Wands – Fire Element (Work, Motivation, Inspiration, Optimism,Activity, Travel)

Eight of Wands – Here we see Eight Wands hurtling through the sky at great speed. The Wands cross a body of water from one land mass to another. They have come from some distance, and as they enter the scene depicted in this card, they appear to be coming into land. I get a sense with this card that we are dealing with travel. This travel could be business or pleasure related. Whatever the nature of travel involved, there is a lot of high energy and excitement about it. This has probably been a long awaited and anticipated trip and with the clear blue skies, I feel heat and the scent of exotic locations. This card often comes up as the vacation card with the passenger jet touching down on foreign runways, and a group of excited and eager passengers bursting to get out through arrival doors so that the fun or relaxation can begin in earnest. Great times lie ahead with a full itinerary of activities and trips. There may even be a holiday romance involved. No negativity or pessimism accompanies this card, only a sense of boundless freedom and enthusiasm.

Cups – Water Element (Emotions, Feelings, Happiness, Relationships, Family, Creativity and Spirituality)

Two of Cups – The Couple or pair. Here we have a close relationship or a strong attraction. This couple are happy to actively display and express their affection for each other. They only have eyes for each other and appear to be madly in love or besotted. This is a lovely card in that it shows great equality, respect and consideration in the relationship. They hold their cups at equal height demonstrating the perfect balance. Individually they may be very strong but as a couple they unite and become even more powerful. This is a welcome card in relationships and can suggest proposal, engagement or marriage, the joining of two mutually compatible people.  I wonder if the Vacation mentioned in the previous card has anything to do with this pair? If they are heading off together, it may be more than just a break in the sun. They may be celebrating something much greater.

Swords – Air Element (Thoughts, Attitudes, Mentality,Intellect, Ideas, Plans, Communication, Stress, Conflict)

The Seven of Swords – The first negative card coming in and after the two previous cards. I would have concerns about the implications of The Seven of Swords. This card does also carry positive meanings but in general it acts as a warning flag. It brings energies of theft, deceit, lies, underhand behaviour and shady characters. There is a need to be on your guard for not all those around have your best interests at heart. There are many who think only of them self and their own interests. This card can represent an opportunist who is sitting ready and waiting to take advantage of the innocent, gullible and careless. The personality in this card tiptoes around and blends in with the background so you won’t even notice they are around. You must take extra care with your possessions, money, property, and of course your physical security during this time. Of course you do not have to walk around in a suit of armour with a gun or sword in your hand, glaring at everyone who passes you, but you need to make it difficult if not impossible for any such opportunist to penetrate your defences. If you are going on vacation, security measures also involve ensuring your home is well locked up and looked after while you are away. Because this is a Swords Card, beware of any smooth talking characters who speak and move fast. One of their giveaways is their inability to maintain eye contact with you. With regard to the two previous cards, if the couple from The Two of Cups are indeed vacationing abroad, then they need to keep their eyes wide open. It is nice to relax and feel benevolent and friendly with those around you, but don’t get so relaxed that you are not aware of what is going on around you. Also don’t just walk around blindly admiring the scenery. Know where you are going and check to see how safe it is. This card acts as a strong warning that you could suffer a loss of some sort or even get lost in somewhere you shouldn’t.

Pentacles – Earth Element (Practicality, Finances, Security, Productivity, Manifestation, Commerce, Goals, Commitment,  Health) 

Five of Pentacles– Loss, financial ruin, poverty, despair and desperation. Here we see two down and out figures struggling to make their way up the street. One appears to be ill or crippled while the other pulls her cloak around her in misery. They look a pitiful sight and more than likely homeless. One cannot help but feel sorry for them. They may be begging on the street or going from door to door asking for help or food. They seem all alone in a cruel world. Tying this card in with the previous one, a story is beginning to filter through and the words ‘set-up’  and ‘scam’ are running through my mind. If The Seven of Swords is connected with this card here we may have an organised gang who masquerade as beggars but are really thieves. It can also suggest the danger of wandering into areas or locations you know nothing about. If you are on vacation and not properly planning your trips and routes you could end up straying into a zone where your personal safety or possessions are threatened. This card could also imply travelling to a country or area where there is a high poverty rate. You may be staying in your fancy hotel, but outside the hotel confines lies deprivation and poverty. You may find the contrast in living standards too stark. I think we have all experienced this at some time. The reality of our exotic holiday destination can leave a lot to be desired. Returning to the opportunists concept, organised gangs or thieves may lure you into engaging with beggars on the street out of sympathy or pity. You may feel embarrassed by all you have and the designer sunglasses you are wearing, when they appear to have so little. You may naturally drop your guard and want to help. This is the time when they will make their move so you must learn to spot the difference between those who are genuine and those who are making a corrupt living out of unsuspecting tourists. You might end up relieved of your wallet, handbag and jewellery. Keep your eyes open.

Major Arcana Card – The Key Lesson

The Magician Reversed – Aha, the conman, the corrupt business man, the fraudster, the trickster. Here is a man not to be trusted, but how can you spot him when he does a very good job of concealing his true identity. He is very easy to spot as the slippery, dodgy looking character, but The Reversed Magician is well able to appear in a smart expensive suit, with well-groomed appearance, handmade leather shoes and driving a top of the range car. He will dine at the fanciest restaurants and is able to gain access to elite circles. He knows all the tricks and has several of them up his sleeve. He is highly intelligent and many would call him a genius. This is a man of great power but a power that is used negatively and for self-gain. He is the amazing salesperson who dazzles with his spiel and puts a wonderful seductive spin on all his wares. He can earn a considerable fortune out of his sales and industries but they are rarely legal, and what he sells more than likely stolen or useless. He can easily relieve you of thousands of euros, dollars or pounds for the genuine designer handbag or shoes for a fraction of their original retail cost. He tells you he has a good friend and contact who can get him the genuine article by cutting out the middle man. His sales pitch is easy to fall for because you just want to believe him so much. However, you will end up with a fake, and a bad one at that. When you go back to complain he will have vanished without a trace and the mobile number on his card is not valid. Looking back on the previous cards and the direction I have run with this reading, here we have the ring leader of any organised gang of thieves or scam artists. They may be the ones who do the dirty work, but it will be The Reversed Magician who will pocket all the profits.  The Reversed Magician is everywhere these days and people are becoming more and more aware of his schemes and methods. He has even infiltrated the internet, and is the one responsible for sending emails from deposed or exiled kings and leaders who are willing to pay you handsomely if you assist them transfer their colossal funds out of the country. Regardless of all the warnings, there are still people who fall for this scam and often lose their life savings in the process. Be on your guard, because The Reversed Magician may easily be coming to a town near you very shortly.

Summary – Now there are many ways this reading could be interpreted but when I looked at the combination of cards together a story began to emerge and I decided to go with a certain version. I could see the happy couple heading off on vacation as they do every year, or possibly that it was their honeymoon. The first two cards are wonderful and show the travel and excitement that accompanies heading off for a couple of weeks of fun, chilling, and new experiences. I could see the spending money that they had diligently saved for months so that they could eat out as often as they wished, take any trip they liked, and make a few personal indulgent purchases should they happen upon anything that took their fancy. I could see their plane landing and the rush of excitement as their hotel first came into view, the delight of the style of their bedroom and the wonderful view from the balcony. I could see them in their new clothes heading out first for a walk around the area and then sitting down to their first dinner, and mulling over the wine list together. Suddenly we moved onto The Seven of Swords, The Five of Pentacles and The Reversed Magician and the story took on a negative stance. Now I could see the couple happily settled into their new environment and deciding that it was time to go exploring. They were going to check out the market that they heard was held at the next town twice a week. They had heard great stories about the wonderful items on sale and the colourful stalls. They found the market easily enough and spent some time looking at all the lovely stalls together. After a while they began to drift apart and while he stopped at stalls selling gadgets and maps, she wandered ahead to try on hats at another. All the while, totally unbeknownst to the couple, they have been watched and followed. In the distance watching from a far off balcony sits a man wearing dark glasses and smoking a cigarette. The woman, excited about the array of hats on offer that she can never seem to find at home, leaves her handbag down on the counter as she views her profile from every angle in the small mirror. She loves the hat but is not sure of the colour. She tries a few more colours and settles on the pale coral that she tried on first. While the girl at the counter begins to put the hat into a bag the girl reaches for her handbag and cannot find it. She looks again and then retraces her steps, maybe she left it on the shelf and not the counter, but it’s not there either. She can feel panic rising and now has alerted the girl behind the counter who has not seen it either. Several shoppers turn to hear the disturbance and some come to offer their assistance. Her partner eventually arrives on the scene and is quickly filled in about what has happened. The Stall is turned upside down in the search for the bag but it is gone. It is now in the possession of the man sitting on the balcony. He pays a young boy a few coins and when he is alone opens it and smiles. Ah, just as he had thought. A purse full of cash, a wallet too (surprise, she was obviously carrying it for him) designer sunglasses, a passport (will fetch a good price for that), an iPhone and a few credit cards. He did well. Enjoy your vacation Pisces but be careful.
